18 min without trial and error. great puzzle. had to use colouring as well as xy wing. trial and error would have saved time. but i like doing it the proper way

I wonder why Fred didnt put the '2' for symmetry. Maybe it makes it too easy.

That's exactly the reason !
With this 2 the grid is very easy; without it, it is a little more challenging and it's more interesting to solve, in my opinion.
