Rules of 'Battleship Sudoku'
Place numbers in the grid such that every row, column and 3x3 box contain the numbers 1 to 9. Locate the position of the 10-ship fleet in the grid. The ships with size greater than 1 can be placed only in horizontal and vertical directions. The ships do not touch each other, not even diagonally. The numbers outside the grid indicate how many cells in that row or column contain parts of ships. The ship cannot occupy the cells with given digits.

Earlier I used to dread this variation!
I'm a little more comfortable now after a lot of practise though its still not one of my favuorites.
